It happened at 5:00 a.m. Monday at the Hess station in the 2400 block of Island Avenue.
Investigators say the robbers may have been posing as deliverymen when they entered the gas station, shot at the clerk, tied him up and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The clerk, who suffered a graze wound to the head, was taken to the hospital.
