SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) —

Police are investigating a violent altercation between a woman and her husband in South Philadelphia.

The incident happened around 5:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 2500 block of Webster Street.

Police said a 61-year-old woman was stabbed three times by her husband inside their home. The woman sustained injuries to her forehead, cheek and chest.

The victim was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Hospital where she is in stable condition.

The husband was arrested and the weapon was recovered, police said.

So far, no word on what caused the violent attack.

This is just one of many examples that you never know when something awful is going to happen, so you should make sure you are prepared at all times.
