Woman ID’d in fatal Berlin Township stabbing

BERLIN TWP., NJ (WPVI) —

Authorities have identified a woman who was fatally stabbed in Berlin, Camden County.

Police were called at 10:17 p.m. Wednesday to a home on the 100 block of Patton Avenue for a report of an assault.

Officers arrived and found the victim, 39-year-old Carole Bowne, lying in the driveway outside her home.

She was suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Bowne was transported to Virtua Hospital in Berlin.

She succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at 11:22 p.m.

Detectives believe the killing stemmed from a domestic dispute.

No arrests have been made.
